Algaida is a town with deep roots in wine making. The Designation of Origin (D.O.) is Pla i Llevant de Mallorca. Can Majoral is a small, family winery founded in 1979. Vineyards: Son Reus – Terra rossa (Call vermell) and Son Roig- clay and limestone.

Mostly native grapes are used, which are blended with mainstay foreign grapes. Each grape is harvested and vinified separately, using a variety of techniques: cold maceration, rack and return (délestage), cap immersion (pigeage), over-pumping (re-montage) and hand stirring (battonage). The wines are aged in French or American oak barrels then finally blended and bottled. Clarification by bentonite, gelatine and egg albumin. Organic certification.
